The Urasenke Tokyo Branch, which for many years was located in Chiyoda ward of Tokyo, was relocated to Ichigaya Kaga-cho in the Shinjuku ward in 1995. The main rooms for tea gatherings are replicas of the Totsutotsusai and Kan’untei at Konnichian.

In a separate wing there is a Rikyu Onsodo. The tearooms surround a three-part roji which was designed around a magnificent ginkgo tree and a 400-year-old pine tree.

On the second floor of the main building is a ninety-tatami room which is used for everyday practice, and in the basement is a multi-purpose hall.
