ANNOUNCEMENT
Urasenke Tankokai Latin America Convention in Brazil
In commemoration of the sixtieth year of Urasenke chado in Latin America
In 1954, Daisosho SEN Genshitsu made his first visit to Latin America to introduce chado; an event which resulted in the establishment of Chado Urasenke Tankokai associations in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and Peru. In commemoration of the sixtieth year of Urasenke chado in Latin America, the "Chado Urasenke Tankokai Latin America Convention" will be held with Dr. Sen in attendance on August 29-31 (Friday - Sunday), 2014.

Hosted in Sao Paulo by the Urasenke Tankokai Federation, together with the Urasenke Brazil Branch and the Chado Urasenke Tankokai Brazil Association, this program of celebratory events will be a wonderful opportunity for Urasenke followers not only in Latin American countries but from Japan, North America, Asia, and other world regions to gather in one place, and for the spread of chado to gain further momentum.

Please refer to the event information below. We are eager for members and friends from around the world to take part in this Latin America Convention.
