The first day, IZUMI Soko, as a representative of the head Sen family, gave a talk entitled "The Essence of the Human Spirit - Part II," and KOKAJI Soshin, who is lecturer at the Tianjin Urasenke College, gave a lecture on the theme "The Relationship between Tea and Zen." Later that day, the delegates engaged in intensive tea practice under the guidance of the Konnichian tea masters accompanying the mission. After dinner, the delegates enjoyed a "friendship party." The 8th and final lecture was given on the second day, by OTSUKA Soko, Kyoto University professor emeritus, who spoke about "Nearby Mathematics." Then there was a variety of lesson sessions to choose from. In the afternoon, the delegates spent time writing their reports. A gala Farewell Dinner Party was held that night.
