ANNOUNCEMENT         Sen Genshitsu on NHK World

Daisosho SEN Genshitsu will appear on the NHK World "Forbidden Kyoto" program entitled "An Encounter with Green Tea." In this program, navigator Sherry Yamaguchi accompanies American potter Richard Milgrim for an inside view of a first-rate matcha-producing tea plantation, a ritual tea offering ceremony at Kenninji temple, the historical home of the Urasenke tradition of the Way of Tea, the tea rooms at Daitokuji Jukoin temple, and other sites related to chanoyu that are normally not open to the general public.

In Japan, the 44 min. program will be aired six times on July 17 and 18 (Sunday, Monday), as follows:
